Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed in the Farmington Invitational yesterday! 48 teams were registered for the meet, and Canton finished 7th with 41 points! The team continues to score across events in both track and field, showing great balance. Two school records were re-broken yesterday, this season truly is one for the record books! (hey, at least I didn't make a May the 4th joke)
PHOTOS ARE HERE: https://photos.app.goo.gl/zCKbptaCjrMTP9sf9 Many thanks to Chung Yu and Lori Lookliss - covering a meet that big, with that volume of competitors, in that many events, with that many heats, is a LOT. We are so grateful for their time and dedication and giving up their entire day so we can all have great photo memories!

CONGRATULATIONS to Mitchell Clark (12), who re-broke the Canton School Record for the 3200 meter Run! He beat the 9:41.47 record he just set earlier this season by 22 seconds, running 9:19.92 yesterday! In addition to being a new Canton Record, it's a new PR for him and moves him up to #22 in the state!
CONGRATULATIONS to Nathan Levine (12), who re-broke the Canton School Record for the High Jump! He jumped 6'10", improving on the 6'9.25" he just jumped on Tuesday. It's a new PR, a new Farmington Invite Meet record, a new Canton and Park Record, and moves him up to tied #1 in the state!
CONGRATULATIONS to Quincy Isaac (11), who broke his own Farmington Invitational Meet Record for the Long Jump from last year, the new meet record is 23'10.75"!
