This year P-CEP has grown considerable in size with 54 players.  It is the first year ever that we have 3 teams (freshman, JV, Varsity).  It is a wonderful sport especially for incoming freshman because the team is a combination of all 3 high schools.  It is a great way to meet new people, learn a new sport, and have fun! With such few early learning opportunities and teams, everyone is on the same beginner playing level.   Coach Z is the key to this growth with her skills, patience, positive coaching techniques, and value on education coming first.

     Another amazing night for P-CEP Field Hockey as we hosted Maumee Valley!  JV played a great game but came up short of a win with a tight 0-1 score.  Varsity defense was on fire with saves, steals, and solid team work.   The score at half time was 2-0 with scores from Juniors, Jaclyn Schlanser and Emily Foss.  The game wrapped up with a score of 2-1.  Way to go Panthers!

    Tough night for P-CEP Field Hockey as we traveled to Novi!  JV fell 0-3 despite their efforts. Great start to the Varsity game as the National Anthem would not start in the box so the home, Novi, team started singing and P-CEP team!  Goalie, Avery James, Junior, rocked the night with her slides, jumps, and kicks to keep those balls out of our nets from what seemed like endless corners! Score at half was 0-4 with 3 scores coming from corners by Novi.  Emily Foss was able to pop one in the net from a cross coming from the left side of the field.  Final score was 1-8.
