What a day for the Canton Cobras Cross Country team. The boys traveled to the Jackson Invitational at Ella Sharp Park. After the fog and dust settled, Canton had a new school record, and had run 4 of the 13 fastest times in school history.
Scoring in 5th place for Canton was Tobin Collins who shattered his personal best with a 17:15.
In the four spot, Ben Clark ran the 13th fastest time in school history (16:18).
3rd for the Cobras was Clark Madden (16:03). That blazing time puts him on the top ten board on the school.
Steven Dusseau ran a blazing 15:57. He is the Fifth Canton runner to ever break 16 minutes and places him 3rd all time on the Canton record board.
But it was Aiden Pengelly who stole the show with a new school record of 15:16. That is the 3rd fastest time in Michigan Division 1 so far this year.
Other personal best times include…
