Canton Girls Swim & Dive at Northville

Thursday Canton Girls Swim & Dive face the 8 consecutive KLAA Conference champions in a dual at their pool.
Needless to say, the Mustangs have impressive depth as usual.
Many close races went Northville's way.
Abigail McAskin had a nice 200 freestyle.
Hannah Gurgel had a first place, state qualifying time, in the 200 I'm.
Sydney Bennett also PR'd in the event.
Tayla Smith qualified for states in the 50 free, with teammate Amelia Pan finishing right behind her.
Addy Miller and Kiera Shisler had a season highs in 1 meter diving.
Anna Park had a PR in the 100 butterfly.
Hannah Gurgel and Amya Bosanko both had season bests in the 100 freestyle.
Ella Strutton and Liv Williams had best times in the 500 free.
Mina Kennedy placed first in the 100 backstroke.
Amelia Pan finished the individual events with a first time swim of the 100 breaststroke.
Next up is a selection of Canton girls at JG (Oct 1), then the varsity squad at Brighton (Oct 3).
