Aiden Pengelly wins County Championship

For the first time in the history of the Wayne County Championships a Canton runner has crossed the finish line first.  Aiden Pengelly ran a great race, beating the defending champion, and running the 2nd fastest time in school history.

Despite missing a couple of key runners, the rest of the Canton Men finished in 3rd place.  Steven Dusseau, Adam Dicken, and Ben Clark all medaled for the Cobras.  Adam ran his fastest time of the season (16:33).

Neel Bangera scored for Canton finishing 44th and ensuring the Canton team would take home a trophy.

Running career best times for Canton were Matthew Collins (18:18), Ryan Guinn (21:11), Liam Hoban (21:06), Takeru Kikuta (18:13), Om Lakhani (21:32), Emerson McGuire (21:43), Josh Raoof (21:05), Landin Watkins (24:42).

Canton races Salem and Plymouth on Tuesday, at Cass Benton, for the City Championship.
